Apple Tree Farm offers several weeks of riding clinics during the summer for children of all ages. 

Younger Rider’s clinic: Days include 1½ hours of riding in small groups.  Appropriate for beginner riders through those who are riding independently.  Barn lectures to include: Barn safety, First aid, healthcare, horse management.   Riders will also learn how to drive a pony (cart).  Limited to 12 riders.  Riders often do multiple weeks so we vary information during each week. 



Advanced Kid’s Clinic: Geared toward preparing riders for the sport of eventing. Riders must be able to ride independently in the open and be jumping courses.   Each day will emphasis an aspect of eventing.  To include:  Dressage test practice, SJ practice, XC Schooling (schooling fee), pace work.  Lectures on rules for eventing, special equipment, and show preparation.  Limited to 6 riders.  This week will gear up to the Kingsbury Hill Horse Trials on July 20.  Separate fees and entries apply. 

Things you will need:  Lunch, drinks, sunscreen, fly-spray.  Change of clothes.  Properly fitted SEI approved helmet. 

In addition Advanced Kids will need:  Jumping vest, XC stop watch,

Registration: A completed Information form, release form, and 50% non-refundable deposit will secure slot.
